Nscale has secured $2 billion in venture funding and new marquee board members to help the infrastructure company achieve its lofty AI data centre ambitions.

The neocloud provider is now valued at $14.6 billion, according to the record-breaking funding announcement on Monday. The raise, the largest ever Series C in Europe, was led by 8090 Industries and Norway’s Aker ASA, with a little help from the likes of Dell, Lenovo, NVIDIA, and Jane Street, among others.

Nscale also welcomed three new board members: two former Meta executives Sheryl Sandberg and Nick Clegg, as well as ex-Yahoo president Susan Decker.
