Home Office eyes £296m refresh for biometrics platform

The UK Home Office is putting £296 million on the table for the continued modernisation of its national biometrics platform.

Technology for the Strategic Central and Bureau Platform (SCBP), which hosts biometric and identity services for law enforcement, has already transitioned onto modern tech stacks, it said in an engagement notice.
